Promine’s block model trimming feature offers you the possibility to trim a block model to fit perfectly inside a 3D implicit model. This option allows to compute an accurate block model report to get accurate ore and waste results. The block will retain all its data while the blocks located on the proximity of the 3D mesh (the 3D implicit model) will be trimmed along the surface to give you an accurate model. This TOTM also includes generation of a trimmed block model report that shows the total tonnage and average grade.
