Release Notes

2026.02

This document contains the descriptions of new features, improvements and bugs fixes that are included in the 2026.02 version of Promine. These are valid from the release of the version the March 09,2026.

✨ New Features

  • DEV-8817 — FIL: New recovering information tool delivers faster, more reliable data retrieval.
Introduces FILEXT in the Filer module to batch extract layers from drawings. image-20260211-213255.png Choose the source folder, target folder for extracted layers, and an optional destination to copy processed files; optionally hide already processed items. Select multiple files, then each drawing is opened and its layers are saved to subfolders named by layer. image-20260211-213222.png Promine layers are prefixed with the layer’s last save date; other layers are numbered starting at 1. Detailed logs are written to the source folder, and each processed layer also generates a text file with date, time, and processing user. image-20260211-213529.png

📈 Improvements

  • DEV-8796 — DRIREDES: Adds new data format support for Epiroc Drilling Machine.
Added support for exporting tunnel-wide drilling plans in IREDES XML via the DRI module. Corrected coordinates in plan and section drilling plans. image-20260316-172437.png
  • DEV-8816 — PROMDEF: Resolved missing Promine Users folder settings file, preserving preferences reliably.
Fixed an issue where configuration files saved in the user’s Temp folder could be deleted by Windows processes. Configurations are now stored in the user’s Support folder to prevent unintended loss.
  • DEV-8766 — GMPHE: New control lets you set hatch elevation for greater precision.
Added an elevation input box and a pick-from-screen option to command dialogs. You can now set elevations for hatches, contours, text, and grade texts in GMPLA, GMPIN, GMPH, and GMPHE. Hatches created by GMPHP are not yet supported and will be addressed in a future update. image-20260211-211030.png

🐛 Bugs fixes

  • FIS: Fixed bug preventing layer from being saved.
  • GMPH: Resolved a bug causing unexpected errors.
  • GMPIN: Fixed error that interrupted use, improving reliability.
  • GMPB: Fixed layer-setting error when entering Pick Grid Elevation.
  • GMPHP: Fixed incorrect hatch projection after editing wall polylines.
  • GMPHP: Fixed missing projected hatch.
  • Framework: Fixed AutoCAD crash when clicking the notification link.
  • GMPB: Fixed erase option removing contour lines.
  • GMPIN : Resolved issue where simplified structure insert couldn’t find linetype.

✨ New Features

No new features were part of this version.

📈 Improvements

  • DEV-8775 — DRIPREF-Customize reports: Fixes spacing for length labels at the hole’s bottom.
Added a field in drilling report settings to control the position of the annotation: This applies only when the length is labeled horizontally on a hole. The distance is calculated along the thick red reference line: Enter a negative value to place it before the hole’s endpoint.
  • DEV-8773 — DRIDEL: Delays now correctly positioned at the bottom of holes.
A new control in the drilling customization report lets you set the offset from the end of the hole; it is available only when the delay is placed horizontally at the hole end. When a delay is placed, the delay block is inserted and may overlap the hole number if both elements are too close.
  • DEV-8768 — GMPSP: New option to enter or pick elevation for improved flexibility.
A new, easy-to-use elevation picker is now available within the GMPSP feature.

🐛 Bugs fixes

  • Licensing: Fixed licensing error that blocked user access.
  • GMPSP: Fixed polyline now correctly reflects structure elevation.
  • SEC1: Fixed smart assembly error when cutting sections in Spanish BCAD.
  • STDM-BCAD: Fixed mesh disappearing during processing.
