This week’s Promine’s AutoCAD tip of the week covers a useful trick to separate objects contained in a single polyline. Using the Explode command, you can split the polyline into different lines representing its segments. Once you have the line objects, you can join the ones associated to a specific object using the command Join.
Step By Step
1.Type Explode in the command line
2.Select the polyline containing the various drawing elements (stope and drift in the drawing)
3.Type Join in the command line
4.Select the lines that represent a specific element (stope in the drawing)
