Promine AutoCAD Tip of the Week: STDDI Command

This command allows to divide 3D models (solids or meshes) into smaller ones using parameters defined by the user. The command can be used to divide a 3D model using either a volume or distance.

Video Tutorial

Step By Step

1.Insert a 3D model in the drawing to divide

2.Type in the command and select your 3D model

3.Pick a start point and draw a line in the direction to divide

4.Select the option to use for dividing the 3D Model (Volume or Distance)

5.Enter the volume or the distance between the divided models
