Promine AutoCAD Tip of the Week: QUICK SELECT

The Quick Select command allows the user to quickly filter out objects whenever a drawing contains too many layers/objects/blocks. To use the command:

1.Select the objects to filter.

2.Right-click and select Quick Select.

3.Select the object to filter, from “Object type”.

4.Select a property (if desired), then define the operator and the value of that property.

5.Ensure that the “Include in new selection set” option is checked.

6.Click OK and the program will proceed by selecting the objects according to the selected options.
