Promine AutoCAD Tip of the Week: Divide & Measure Commands

This week's Promine's AutoCAD tip of the week covers a useful tip to annotate an entity/object using the Divide & Measure commands.

Video Tutorial

Step By Step

1.In the command line, type in “Divide” or “Measure”

2.Select the entity/object you want to divide

3.Select “Block” and type in the block’s name (the block must be saved)

4.Select “Yes” to align the block with object

5.In the case of Divide, enter the number of segments. In the case of Measure, enter the length of each segment

6.The block will then be inserted after each specified segment
