Promine AutoCAD Tip of the Week: Import a SHP File

This week for the tip of the week we will see how import a SHP file using Promine. This feature allows the user to import all objects contained in the file that are helpful for their work. If the objects are on 3D they will be imported as 3D objects and if they are at elevation 0 or 2D, Promine will respect this feature.

Step By Step

1.Type INTSHP or run the command from Promine Essentials/Interface/Import SHP

2.Select the file you want to open.

3.Depending on the size of your file, this may take some time to load into AutoCAD, so be patient.

4.The elements will be inserted into the AutoCAD drawing.
