History and Timeline

Founded in 1993 in Canada by Yvan Dionne, PROMINE was born out of a request from the Casa Berardi mine to develop software specific to mining and integrated with AutoCAD.

In 1993, the first version of PROMINE worked with AutoCAD 12 and consisted of five modules including: survey, drift planning, filer, grid, 2D section.

Today, PROMINE is a complete mining and geological software with over 30 additional modules. With the aid of its multilingual versions, PROMINE is now in production in over 10 countries around the world. PROMINE is committed tobeing the standard software for the mining industry.
